Reflection Day 18
So, what is the first thing you do in the morning after wipe the sleep from your eyes or hit the snooze button 3 times? Well, I grab a cup of coffee and the Bible. Of, course my phone is near, because I have my devotions on it. I work hard to not click on any social media first… just taking some time in the quiet.
As I take that first sip of coffee, I begin to read what God has done, how he has provided, where I might need to repent or forgive, and many other parts that fit in the pieces of the Bible. Today as I do the same, prayer comes to forefront of His Word for me to read. During this pandemic time, there are so many things to pray for! So, today let’s pray together. Matthew 6:9-13 teaches us how to pray together… The LORD’s Prayer.
You know, when Jesus and the disciples were in The Garden, Jesus told the disciples to pray. Jesus asked for God’s will to be done, not His. After seeing the Angel of Heaven and finishing His prayer, he woke the disciples up to continue to pray. So today, take a moment of silence and pray this prayer, then incorporate all those you are praying for today. Have a blessed day my friends!
