Our New Normal
I know that I have been unplugged for quite a while. 2020 has been a year full of change, flexibility, worry, tears, laughter, isolation, FaceTime, and lots of time to reflect upon what is important. Over the time we had to quarantine/shelter in place and after we completed our school year online, it seemed I had lots of time on my hands. I took this time to sit on my patio and just be. Praying about what was next. How would we all move forward? What would this look like with so many new procedures? So, through much prayer, it was clear that I would continue to take steps in the direction I was being called even though this path was oh so unclear. I had the reminder that I had to place my faith over my fear. I had to focus on the scriptures before me in order to have the courage and strength to believe everything would be okay even when the path was so difficult and at times depressing. God sends those people to support and gives a feeling of peace when you need them most. He provides where He guides. I am grateful! Now, here we are getting prepared to close the year with Jesus’ birth. I pray your Christmas season brings you your new normal with joy, love, grace, family-time and rainbows!
