Reflection Day 24

Oh my goodness! I feel like the old, old cartoons where the characters eyes need sticks to hold them open 😳 Have you ever felt that way?!? It sure is me TODAY! I am not sure why, because I am getting plenty of sleep. I have said this before and quite often to family and friends, but working from home and with my family here I feel like I have worked harder than if I went to work. My To-do List seems never ending. Have you ever felt that way before?

With that, I needed a scripture that reassured me that I can lay this weary and tired feeling down in order to begin to change my perception of how I’m feeling. In this scripture, Jesus tells us to come to Him and He will share his great wisdom as He is providing us an easy yoke in comparison to a heavy yoke. He will help ease our burden when we come to Him and ask for that help. Reflect today on those times that you have been weary and you’ve laid those burdens at Jesus’ feet for His guidance and wisdom through discernment.

“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” -Matthew 11: 28-30
