Reflection Day 6
So through last weeks’ reflections, we have talked about being still to listen, follow the path set out before us, trusting God has us, praying for protection and to not fear for our LORD God is with us wherever we might go. Last week, I sat on my patio a lot… We sat in the quiet as birds chirped, lawn mowers ran, and kids played outside. We just sat. I was speechless with the overwhelming feelings I have had lately. One day, as I sat reading a devotional about Gideon, the tears began to flow and I felt my hand being held. I know the Holy Spirit sat with me and held my hand. That overwhelming feeling left and I was able to focus again. So today, take a minute to reflect over the weekend and write how our LORD has held your hand. How has He stood by your side during your most overwhelming time?
“A man’s steps are established by the LORD, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the LORD holds his hand.” -Psalms 37:23-24
