As I felt led to read Psalm 91, I was able to sympathize with Psalmist and his fear as we go through this pandemic and the tough weather that has destroyed some people’s homes and businesses. However, this scripture reminds me that we are under God’s protection. Imagery leads me to picture an eagle soaring overhead as protection. We know that God is our nurturer and protector and this scripture confirms that knowledge. Verse 4 ends with the reminder that God shields us from all those bad or evil things by His faithfulness when we trust Him. How has God shielded you lately?
