Reflection Day 19
Throughout these days of reflection, I tend to go back to the word hope. Well, actually, hope has been a word I have clung to for the past 17 years. I have seen the first part of the scripture on signs and coffee cups and different items especially those beach themed items. I haven’t really seen much of the second verse, so today I read (HCSB study version) some about the second verse.
We, as Christians, have the hope that God has what we need. We have hope that we will fulfill his calling for us, no matter what that looks likes. We have hope that we will enter Heaven’s Gates when our work here on earth is done. But, to get there this scripture remind us through Holy Week into Easter Sunday that Jesus entered God’s presence within the inner sanctuary and that’s where our anchors are safe and secure… deep within our soul.
How has the Father, Son and Holy Spirit anchored your soul?
“We have this hope as an anchor for our lives, safe and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.” -Hebrews 6:19
